Spring Break is almost gone?? What is this!? Well, it's life, and in life, time passes. Anywho, I decided to put up a live video today. I'm not singing in this one, though. This one is a piano instrumental, and is a mashup of tunes that I have written, but have not yet put words or a story to. Enjoy! (Also, feel special if you are viewing this! I'm not putting it on Facebook or really advertising it. I kind of did this video for kicks, so I'm just posting it on my website, and on my YouTube channel)

This week our college is on Spring Break. Instead of going home, I decided to stay here in the Valley, and have some alone time. At first, I have to admit, it was a bit difficult. As the week went on though, the days became much easier to manage. All in all, it was a pretty productive week! At the beginning of the week, my good friend Nolan and I went to the skate park, enjoyed the sunshine, watched a movie, played with some fire, and killed some zombies. I then practiced some repertoire for my upcoming Junior Recital (come!! It is at 5pm, on May 2nd, in Leon Memorial Hall), I studied for a conducting exam, and then my friend Skyler and I spent a great majority of it in the recording studio. Man... It is so enthralling to see your album come to fruition. Seeing your art finally come to laugh, and finally hearing something that has been in your head for years, is such a fun thing. This week, I released a new demo, "Dark Notes," (which you can view under the "Audio" tab) and I received some pretty cool feedback from it.
Also, I booked TWO MORE SHOWS for New York this summer!! They are at the Greenhouse Cafe's Original Thursday's. They have this open mic night, and before the open mic, the feature an artist as their opening act. I get to be that act, TWICE this summer! This makes 4 shows total that are booked for the summer, and 2 more that are, as of yet, tentative. Just now, as I was watching covers on YouTube, I came across the most amazing cover yet. It is a cover of "Glory" by Common and John Legend, and it is covered by Ashley K and Jared Scruggs. Their voices are beautiful, and so are their harmonies. I am for SURE subscribing to their channels. Please, please, check them out! Ashley K: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuT9DKuY48iL91uVUM5s6_Q Jared Scruggs: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMLQiu7EDzUOfSufge-7ASA I was on the radio today!! Ah, what an invigorating experience. I played an hour of original music, and did some Q & A with the host, Kayleen. Thank you again, KRZA for featuring me today. What a thrill!!
Man, am I excited. It has been a while since I have been able to sit down and compose a piece, but as of the other day, I was able to! I think this one will be called, "Post-Man."
